Dr. Barbara Burnat awarded the Chemistry Europe Travel Grant
On February 23rd, during the meeting of the Presidium of the Main Board of PTChem in Warsaw, President Prof. Robert Pietrzak presented Dr. Barbara Burnat from the Faculty of Chemistry at the University of Łódź with the prestigious Chemistry Europe Travel Grant.
The aim of the scholarship funded by Chemistry Europe is to build global scientific networks and assist young researchers in their career development through international cooperation. Eligible candidates must hold a doctoral degree, be members of a Chemistry Europe society, demonstrate a strong scientific record, and plan to conduct research in a country other than their current country of residence.
Founded in 1995, Chemistry Europe is an association of 16 chemical societies from 15 European countries. It publishes high-quality scientific journals covering a wide range of chemical disciplines (published by Wiley-VCH).
