The following Privacy Policy sets out the rules for recording and accessing data on the Devices of Users using the Website for the purpose of providing electronic services by the Administrator, as well as the rules for collecting and processing Users' personal data provided by them personally and voluntarily through the tools available on the Website.

The following Privacy Policy is an integral part of the Website Terms and Conditions, which set out the rules, rights, and obligations of Users using the Website.

Definitions

  • Website - the internet service "ptchem.pl/" operating at https://ptchem.pl/
  • External Service - websites of partners, service providers, or service recipients cooperating with the Administrator.
  • Website / Data Administrator - The Administrator is the "Polish Chemical Society" (Polskie Towarzystwo Chemiczne), based at: ul. Freta 16, 00-227 Warsaw, Tax ID (NIP): 525-10-51-977, KRS: 0000102287.
  • User - a natural person for whom the Administrator provides electronic services via the Website.
  • GDPR - Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data (General Data Protection Regulation).

Data Protection Officer

Based on Art. 37 of the GDPR, the Administrator has not appointed a Data Protection Officer. In matters regarding the processing of data, including personal data, please contact the Administrator directly.

Types of Cookies

  • Internal Cookies - files placed and read from the User's Device by the Website's IT system.
  • External Cookies - files placed and read from the User's Device by the IT systems of External Services.
  • Session Cookies - files placed and read from the User's Device by the Website during a single session of a given Device. After the session ends, the files are deleted.
  • Persistent Cookies - files placed and read from the User's Device by the Website until they are manually deleted.

Security and Control

The Cookies used by the Administrator are safe for Users' Devices. Users can independently change the settings regarding the saving, deleting, and accessing the data of saved Cookies by each website at any time within their browser settings.

Purposes of Data Processing

Personal data provided voluntarily by Users are processed for the purposes of: performing electronic services, communication between the Administrator and Users, and ensuring the legitimate interest of the Administrator. The website automatically collects data such as: IP address, browser type, approximate location, and viewed subpages.

User Rights

Users have the right to: access their personal data, rectify data, delete data, restrict processing, transfer data, object to processing, and lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.

Electronic Payment Regulations (BLIK/Tpay)

Membership Fees of the Polish Chemical Society (ptchem.pl)

§ 1. General Provisions

1. These regulations define the rules for paying annual membership fees to the Polish Chemical Society (PTChem) via the BLIK mobile payment system.
2. Payment services are provided by Tpay (Krajowy Integrator Płatności S.A., based in Poznań).

§ 2. Types and Amount of Membership Fees

PTChem members are required to pay fees by the end of the first quarter of each year. The fee amounts are as follows:

  • Ordinary members: 80 PLN
  • Teachers (primary and secondary schools): 30 PLN
  • Retirees, students, and PhD students: 25 PLN

§ 3. Payment Procedure

The transaction is finalized after entering and confirming the 6-digit BLIK code in the payer's bank mobile application. The payment confirmation generated by the Tpay system is the basis for automatically updating the membership fee status in the PTChem database.

§ 4. Security and Complaints

1. The payment process is encrypted and carried out outside the PTChem server. The Society does not have access to the user's banking data.
2. Complaints regarding errors in the amount of the fee or problems with assigning the payment to the member's account should be reported to: [email protected] (resolved within 14 days).
3. The membership fee is a contribution resulting from membership in the association. Paid membership fees are non-refundable, except in cases of obvious overpayments or duplicate transactions.

§ 5. Final Provisions

Using electronic payments on the ptchem.pl website implies acceptance of these regulations. PTChem reserves the right to change the amount of fees in accordance with the resolutions of the General Meeting of PTChem Members or the Main Board.
