Ownership Board Meeting of the Physical Chemistry Chemical Physics (PCCP) journal
On June 22-23, 2026, the annual Ownership Board meeting of the Physical Chemistry Chemical Physics (PCCP) journal was held at the headquarters of the Royal Society of Chemistry in London. The Polish Chemical Society, as a co-owner of PCCP, was represented by Prof. Dr. hab. Sławomira Skrzypek, a member of the Presidium of the Main Board of PTChem.
The deliberations were devoted to many key issues for the functioning of the journal. Discussions included:
- updating the PCCP strategy,
- journal-related statistics and licensing fees,
- the Editorial Board's report,
- the extension of the terms of associate editors and the method of recruiting new editors,
- the role and composition of the Executive Committee,
- the process of nominating members to the Honorary Board.
The meeting was attended by representatives of Chemical Societies from Austria, the Netherlands, Germany, Norway, Poland, Italy, the United Kingdom, as well as Canada and Israel. In addition, members from Switzerland, Denmark, Finland, and New Zealand participated remotely in the meeting. The next annual meeting will be held in May 2027 in Copenhagen.
