Polish Chemical Society

The Polish Chemical Society, with over a 100-year tradition, is a public benefit organization whose aim is to support the development and popularization of chemical sciences. It represents the community of chemists both in Poland and abroad, integrating scientists, teachers, and industry representatives.

Furthermore
  • Awards distinctions and medals for outstanding scientific achievements and contributions to the Society.
  • Supports young researchers through scholarships and competitions for the best diploma theses.
  • Organizes annual Scientific Meetings, which serve as a forum for the exchange of chemical thought.

The activities of PTChem are focused on:

  • Organizing the scientific life of chemists
  • Representing Polish chemists in Poland and abroad
  • Publishing scientific journals
  • Caring for the preservation of Polish chemistry traditions
  • Protecting the professional interests of the Society's members
